Mattel Radica Password Journal
The Mattel Radica Password Journal was the first Radica Password Journal to be released and featured a hot pink funky flower design.
Made using durable, hard plastic, the journal has a fold-over flap design that looks like this a cross between a laptop as well as a trendy educate binder. Inside, there's room for things like the Personal Journal Scrapbook (sold separately). It records as well as plays back personal messages.
This version of the password journal had some flaws which is why the newer version of the Radica Password Journal was released. It uses voice recognition software to keep your secrets safe, although it can be quite touchy so you need to speak very clearly.
It speaks in an English accent which I kind of liked. Girls aged 6 to 12 should find it fun.
You can also play MP3's through it.

About Mattel
Mattel Inc. is the world's largest toy provider based on revenue. The products they produce include Barbie dolls, Hot Wheels as well as Matchbox cars, Masters of the Universe, American Girl dolls, board games, and, in the early 1980s, video game consoles. The company's name is derived from Harold "Matt" Matson and also Elliot Handler, who founded the company in 1945. Handler's wife, Ruth Handler, later became president, and also is credited for establishing the Barbie product line for the provider in 1959. Mattel closed its last American factory, starting with the Fisher-price division, in 2002 and by 2007, Mattel's toys are now primarily manufactured by subcontractors in Asia.
